At the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, the email system has now been restored following a cyber attack on its IT systems. Since Friday, the university of applied sciences (UAS) has been reachable again via its known email addresses, restoring all affected systems for external communication.

On July 6th, the UAS fell victim to a serious cyber attack, as it reported. In the meantime, all communication channels, including the website and learning platform, had been disrupted.

After reporting a serious cyber attack on July 6th, the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences is taking proactive measures to enhance its security. The Commission, recognizing the need for a robust response to such threats, shall adopt implementing acts laying down the rules for the application of relevant cybersecurity regulations.
