Kiesewetter took to a platform to discuss the event in the evening, thanking the public for their support. "I am extremely passionate about advocating for Ukraine," he wrote on the platform. "Your backing gives us the strength to stand united for democracy and freedom!"

Prior to this, Kiesewetter had informed "Schwäbische Post" of verbal abuse. The individual then antagonized him. He said he didn't recognize the individual and warned him to stop. "When I told him to stop, he tore off the top of the campaign stand." He then tried to take a photo of the man and followed him. "As soon as he noticed this, he attacked me, pushed me into a flower bed, and also caused scratches on me," Kiesewetter said. Police arrived quickly, and he offered to drop the charges if the man apologized.

Now, according to his statements, Kiesewetter is waiting for the police to encourage an apology from the suspect.

A joint political alliance called for a human chain demonstration on Sunday at 2:30 pm. The event would take place in the city center with the motto "Solidarity against violence, hatred, and hate speech." Initiators want to form a human chain in the city center. Many politicians have voiced their support for Kiesewetter, both men, and women. Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser sent well wishes for his recovery. "Violence has no place in our democracy and must be addressed swiftly and firmly." The SPD politician posted on the platform.

Green Party chairperson Ricarda Lang, who represents neighboring Schwäbisch Gmünd, said, "When one of us is attacked, we stand together as democrats!" Federal Education Minister Bettina Stark-Watzinger (FDP) also expressed her support on the platform. "It is a disheartening reality that hardly a day goes by during this election campaign without reports of violence against those promoting democracy. Nonetheless, violence should never triumph."
