In Hanau, on a Tuesday, a seventeen-year-old girl was run over by a vehicle, sustaining severe injuries. Witnesses say that she unexpectedly dashed into the street, as her brother was across it. The 67-year-old driver claimed he couldn't stop his vehicle in time, according to his own account. The girl was heading for school and had initially been walking on a sidewalk. Emergency services transferred the girl to a hospital in an ambulance.
