A 10-year-old boy was struck and seriously injured by a car at a tram stop in Magdeburg. The boy was attempting to cross the road from the sidewalk to reach a stationary tram on Thursday afternoon, as reported by police. The collision occurred, and the boy was found lying several meters away. He was then transported to a hospital for further treatment. A 59-year-old driver has been charged with suspected negligent bodily harm. The incident took place at the "Thiemplatz" tram stop.
