Swimming accident - A 77-year-old person dies while swimming in the sea.

A 77-year-old man died at the Staffelsee in the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district. The man had been at the Froschhauser See in Murnau with a relative on Saturday, the police reported. The relative had lost sight of the senior and dialed the emergency number.

Upon arrival, the response team found that other bathing guests had already pulled the deceased man out of the water. The police initially ruled out external influences, indicating that it was likely an aquatic accident.

The victim was a resident of Murnau am Staffelsee, located in the scenic Upper Bavaria region. The unfortunate incident occurred at Staffel Lake, a popular leisure spot in Bavaria. The police in Garmisch-Partenkirchen District are currently investigating the swimming accident to confirm the initial suspicion of an aquatic mishap. Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the man could not be revived.
