On a rural road in Wolfsburg, a severe accident occurred that left one man dead and another severely injured. Police revealed that two vehicles collided head-on, with a 71-year-old man driving onto the wrong side of the road in the area of Wolfsburg-Hattorf on Tuesday afternoon. A 58-year-old man, who was driving toward him, couldn't avoid a crash.
During the mishap, the 58-year-old's car skidded off the road and into a ditch. The older man's vehicle sustained severe damage and caught fire near the front bumper. Emergency personnel arrived at the site to aid the victims. Sadly, attempts to revive the 71-year-old failed, and he passed away right there.
The other driver, who was trapped within his car, was freed by the fire department and rushed to a hospital for treatment.
