A 32-year-old woman was freed from a tree in a Bavarian flood zone following a 52-hour ordeal.
In the end, the woman was discovered with the use of a drone perched in the top of a torn-up tree, where she had sought refuge from the flooding. When she was saved, the water was still up to her chest, the authorities stated, so she required a helicopter rescue.
The 32-year-old was noticeably weak and dehydrated, prompting them to bring her to the hospital as a precaution. Physically, she was okay.
