A 30-year-old guy was saved from the sewer system in Salzwedel. Concerned citizens heard his shouts for assistance on Saturday morning, and the volunteer fire department removed a manhole cover, according to a report by the police on Sunday. Once out in the open, the man admitted he had gone into the sewer out of curiosity. In the pitch-black darkness, he couldn't find his way out and cried for help. The 30-year-old was taken to a hospital by an ambulance due to his hypothermia.

The fire department was instrumental in rescuing the individual, as they were alerted to the emergencies and swiftly removed a manhole cover. Despite his curiosity leading him into the sewerage system, the man required medical attention due to hypothermia and was subsequently transported by an ambulance to a local hospital.
