A 29-year-old motorist met his unfortunate end in a lethal crash on a secluded backroad situated within the Eichstätt district. According to authorities, he was making his way from Wettstetten towards Schelldorf during the afternoon hours. In a wooded area, he inexplicably shifted right whilst tackling a left bend, smashing head-on into a tree. He was rushed to Ingolstadt Clinic with severe wounds, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries later on. The cause behind his departure from the roadway in Stammham remained unclear. The accident scene was blocked off for approximately three hours.
The motorist was driving his vehicle on the backroad when the tragic accident occurred. After the crash, emergency services transported the damaged vehicle to the side of the road.
