A nearly 5-foot-long King Python slithered across a rural road in Dornstadt (Alb-Donau-Circuit), as per Sunday's police reports. Witnesses claimed to have spotted the large, non-venomous reptile on Saturday afternoon, triggering a call to the fire department. The firefighters managed to catch the snake and transferred it to a animal shelter. It remains uncertain whether the snake had escaped or been deliberately released. The authorities assured that no harm came to humans.
