An 82-year-old man has died in a house fire in Weilheim an der Teck ( Esslingen district). Four other people were able to leave the house in time on Saturday morning and were not injured, according to the police. According to the information, the flames had already spread to the roof truss before the fire department arrived on the scene. The entire house became uninhabitable as a result. The 82-year-old could only be rescued dead during the extinguishing work. A firefighter suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital. The police estimate the damage at several hundred thousand euros. They are now investigating the cause of the fire.
