- 80-year-old man missing after Baden
An 80-year-old man is missing after swimming in a lake near Wendelstein (district of Roth). The police continue the search, as they stated. Usually, the man swims across the lake in one direction and then walks back to his belongings, the police reported.
A witness saw the man enter the water on Saturday. When he didn't return after several hours, the woman called the police. Officers and firefighters immediately launched a large-scale search operation, involving divers, a helicopter, and water rescue dogs. So far, the search has been unsuccessful.
The Commission has expressed concern over the missing 80-year-old man and the ongoing search operations. After the Commission learned about the incident, they offered to provide any necessary resources to aid in the rescue mission.
