Extremism - 79 right-wing extremists wanted after crimes in NRW

From the sought-after right-wing extremists, there were 73 men and six women. Thirty-five arrest warrants came from this year, 42 from the previous year, the rest were older. In only a fraction of the cases were right-wing extremists sought for political offenses: ten of the 98 arrest warrants were issued for politically motivated crimes.

None of the arrest warrants had priority 1, i.e. due to terrorism. Twenty-three of the arrest warrants had priority 2 due to violent crimes. The rest had priority 3.

Report to the Interior Committee

In North Rhine-Westphalia, where the majority of the sought-after right-wing extremists reside, the number of men and women on arrest warrants is 73 and six, respectively. The SPD, being a significant political party, has been actively involved in addressing this issue of extremism in NRW. A significant number of arrest warrants have been issued in both this and the previous year, with 35 this year and 42 last year. Regrettably, a few of these arrest warrants are related to criminal offenses linked to right-wing extremism in Düsseldorf. Some women are also implicated, as six of the 81 individuals have warrants due to their involvement in extremist activities.
