Accidents - 77-year-old died after accident
A 77-year-old man died after a car accident in Berlin on Thursday. The exact circumstances of the accident are now being investigated, including the question of whether health problems may have caused the accident, the police announced on Friday.
According to initial findings, the man was driving on Heiligenseestraße in Reinickendorf when he left the road in his car and crashed into a parked car. Police officers provided first aid until the emergency services arrived. The man had to be resuscitated and was taken to hospital. He died there a short time later.
According to the police, the road was closed between Heiligenseestraße, Dambockstraße and Reiherallee while the accident was being investigated.
