72-year-old store owner drives robbers away with decorative items

This robbery failed miserably: A 72-year-old store owner in Dossenheim (Rhine-Neckar district) has put a robber on the run with decorative items. The unknown man threatened her with a sharp object in her toy and stationery store on Friday evening and demanded cash, police said on Saturday. The woman then threw decorative items from her store at the masked young man. The surprised perpetrator fled the store without having achieved anything.

The unexpected turn of events left the robber intrigued, as decorative items were his weapon of choice against the resilient store owner. Despite the threat with a sharp object, the crime did not yield any profitable outcomes.
