A 70-year-old man fell on his bicycle in Freiamt ( Emmendingen district) and died shortly afterwards. According to the police, a witness saw the senior citizen lying on the ground and called the emergency services on Saturday. Resuscitation was unsuccessful. The 70-year-old died at the scene of the accident. It remains unclear what caused the senior citizen to fall. The police have not ruled out a medical emergency for the time being.
