County of Rostock - 65-year-old injured in car accident due to slippery snow

A car accident occurred in Bad Doberan(Rostock district) on Saturday due to slippery snow, resulting in an injury. According to police information, a 52-year-old driver initially left his lane in a tight bend. The car then skidded into the oncoming lane and collided with another car. The 65-year-old female driver was slightly injured and received medical treatment at the scene.

Both cars were severely damaged by the accident and were no longer roadworthy. The police estimate the damage to be around 25,000 euros. After clearing the scene of the accident, the winter road clearance service removed the slippery snow.
