Dresden: City of Art, Culture and History - 61 individuals were apprehended during police check-ups due to having outstanding arrest warrants.

In one instance, a police officer was struck in the face while chasing a car. The suspected driver of the stolen vehicle was allegedly under the influence of both alcohol and amphetamines. He was eventually arrested. Authorities have since opened investigations into him for multiple alleged offenses. During the hunt for the accomplice vehicle, police discovered another high-end automobile that had been stolen. This was halted by the Brandenburg authorities through a roadblock.
Of the 61 individuals with existing arrest warrants, 48 managed to avoid capture by paying the bail directly. The remaining 13 people were taken to detention centers. Furthermore, police found 27 traffic offenses and 473 traffic violations during their checks. These infractions will result in 128 penalty proceedings and 345 warning proceedings. In total, 41 vehicle defects were noted.
