Amateur football - 53:2-Sieg: Recording result in Hamburg Toto-Pokal

With a record result, the first round match of the Hamburger Lotto-Cup competition between TSV Buchholz 08 and Moorburger TSV has come to an end. The Oberligist (fifth league) from Buchholz won with a score of 53:2 (26:0) against the guests from the ninth-tier Kreisklasse B. Both Buchholz players, André Lars Fricke and Jakob Schulz, each scored a hat-trick. For Moorburger, this is not a new experience. In the previous year, they lost in the first round of the Pokal-Wettbewerbs against Oberligist FC Süderelbe with a score of 2:40. This was also a record in the Lotto-Pokal. However, the club had reason to rejoice: For the first time in a Men's Pokal competition in Hamburg, a woman scored a goal - Stella Petrich from Moorburger. The league team was only founded in the summer of 2022.

Following their impressive victory in the first round game of the Hamburger Lotto-Cup, TSV Buchholz 08 from Lower Saxony's fifth league, Hamburg, will advance to the next round. Their opponents, Moorburger TSV from Kreisklasse B, the ninth tier, struggled to keep up with the Oberligist's scoring spree, eventually losing 53-2. The standout performers for Buchholz were André Lars Fricke and Jakob Schulz, each scoring a hat-trick in Hamburg's Lotto-Cup. Despite the overwhelming defeat, Moorburger TSV's history with record-breaking losses continues. Last year, they faced comparable odds against Oberligist FC Süderelbe, losing 2:40 in the Pokal-Wettbewerbs. However, the women's team from Moorburger, led by Stella Petrich, created history by scoring the first Women's Pokal competition goal in Hamburg, providing a glimmer of joy. Despite this defeat, Moorburger TSV will continue their journey in the Amateur football circuit.
