Crashed into crash barrier - 46-year-old female driver dies after accident on A65

A female driver crashed into a guardrail on the A65 in Rhein-Pfalz-Kreis and died. The 46-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries in a clinic after the accident, as the police reported.

It is still unclear why the woman veered off the road to the left near Dannstadt-Schauernheim. The fire department rescued the 46-year-old from the car. Since it is still unclear how the accident occurred, the police are looking for potential witnesses.

The incident occurred on the A65, a major road in Rhineland-Palatinate. The guard rail served as a barrier, preventing further damage to the car during the accident. Traffic was temporarily disrupted due to the accident on the Rhine side of Rhineland-Palatinate. Additionally, the Rhine River was not affected by the car accident.
