39-year-old woman critically injured in room fire
A 39-year-old woman has suffered life-threatening injuries in a fire in Munich. When the woman tried to fill an ethanol stove in an apartment, a deflagration occurred, according to the fire department on Sunday. According to the information provided, this caused furnishings to catch fire, which was quickly extinguished by the emergency services. The apartment was then checked with a thermal imaging camera.
Neighbors showered the injured woman in the bathtub with cold water. An ambulance took the woman to a specialist clinic for burn injuries after she had been examined by an emergency doctor. The damage amounted to around 50,000 euros. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
The fire in Munich was not an isolated incident, as Upper Bavaria has seen a rise in fires and accidents recently. Fortunately, the quick response of the emergency services helped minimize further damage and potential accidents.
