Barnim district - 37-year-old goes on the rampage in apartment: police use Taser

Police have subdued a rampaging 37-year-old man in Eberswalde (Barnim district) with a Taser. The man acted aggressively towards the officers in his apartment on Wednesday evening, the police announced on Thursday. He was holding a pair of scissors and a knife in his hands. As he could not be calmed down, the police officers finally used the stun gun. The man, who was in an exceptional psychological situation, was then overpowered and taken to hospital. Proceedings were initiated against the 37-year-old for resisting law enforcement officers.
