36-year-old man fatally injured in assault

After a dispute in the district of Heilbronn, a 36-year-old is attacked. The two suspects are believed to be at large - but the police locate them.

- 36-year-old man fatally injured in assault

Two men, aged 21 and 40, are in custody on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and causing grievous bodily harm. They are alleged to have seriously injured a 36-year-old man in Brackenheim (Heilbronn district) and are being investigated for these offenses, the police reported.

On Saturday evening, they initially argued with other people on a meadow. Later, they allegedly attacked the 36-year-old on the nearby market square. Witnesses alerted the police. The victim was taken to hospital with a stab wound.

The police stated that they identified and arrested the two suspects at their home addresses early on Sunday morning. A judge then issued a warrant for their detention.

The witnesses who noticed the incident on the market square immediately contacted the police. The arrest and investigation of the suspects are being handled by the local Police department.
