Investigations - 35 cars stolen: Keys stolen from lockers

Six men who allegedly stole 35 high-end cars from swimming pools within a year have been arrested. The suspects, aged between 16 and 24, had ambushed their victims in front of the swimming pools in order to break open their lockers and drive off with the cars, the police announced on Tuesday. According to preliminary findings, the detainees are responsible for car thefts in Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania between November 2022 and 2023. Following extensive investigations, the police searched the men's homes last Thursday and executed the arrest warrants issued.
