The police apprehended a 28-year-old suspect at the scene, who was reportedly the grandson or son of the victims. He surrendered without any struggle. The suspect reportedly phoned the police at around 4:45 am, confirming that he had committed the heinous act. The lifeless bodies of the victims were discovered in their detached house. Tragically, help arrived too late for the elderly couple and their daughter, aged 59. The deceased individuals were an 85-year-old man, his 84-year-old spouse, and their 59-year-old daughter.
