Emergency in Munich - 26-year-old man missing after bathing in a forbidden place

A 26-year-old is missing after swimming in the English Garden in Munich. According to the police announcement on Sunday, the young man had gone into the Eisbach with friends on Saturday afternoon at a spot where swimming is prohibited due to danger. The group noticed after some time that the 26-year-old was missing and began an unsuccessful search themselves. Eventually, they called the police. So far, there are no leads on the whereabouts of the Baden-Württemberg native.

The search for the missing swimmer originated on a Sunday in Munich. Despite being in Upper Bavaria's renowned English Garden, the area around the Eisbach was deemed an emergency site due to past accidents. Regrettably, this incident involved a resident from Bavaria's neighboring state, Baden-Wuërttemberg. The police in Munich are still investigating the situation. Unfortunately, the whereabouts of the individual remain unknown even after an emergency call on Saturday night.
