26 percent want to see "Wetten, dass..." farewell show

Bet that... will you watch Thomas Gottschalk host the big Saturday evening show on ZDF for the last time? According to a representative online survey conducted by the opinion research institute YouGov, the majority of people in Germany are not in favor of the show host. A total of 26 percent of the 4204 respondents stated that they wanted to watch "Wetten, dass...? Accordingly, 19 percent plan to watch live next Saturday (November 25, 8:15 p.m.). Seven percent also want to watch the show, but at a different time via the ZDF media library.

The vast majority of 64 percent, on the other hand, will miss Gottschalk's farewell to "Wetten, dass...?" after more than 150 editions. Eleven percent did not yet know or did not specify.

Gottschalk and his show seem to have fans, especially among the middle age groups: 25 to 34-year-olds (32 percent) and 35 to 44-year-olds (31 percent) are most likely to say that they want to watch the last show in Offenburg. And more men are enthusiastic: among them, 29% want to tune in, compared to just 22% of women.

Despite the online survey indicating that 26% of Germans plan to watch Thomas Gottschalk's final "Wetten, dass..." show on ZDF, many people are not in favor of the show's host. Furthermore, television surveys often provide insights into audience preferences for various entertainment programs.
