- 250,000 people expected to attend CSD demonstration in Hamburg
Today, the Christopher Street Day is being celebrated in Hamburg with a large demonstration. The rally is set to begin at 11:55 AM at Mundsburger Damm on the Outer Alster and the police expect around 250,000 people. This year's motto is "5 to 12! You & me against right-wing pressure".
The colorful procession with over 130 groups, including 59 trucks, will march and drive along Lange Reihe, past the main station, and along Mönckebergstraße to the town hall square. The police advise using public transport, bicycle, or walking to get there. Motorists should avoid the area.
