In a dispute in Steinfurt northwest of Münster, a 24-year-old was severely injured by stab wounds from a pocket knife on Thursday evening. According to a joint statement from police and the public prosecutor's office, a 34-year-old suspect was arrested shortly afterwards. Initial investigations suggest that the dispute on the street was triggered by a trivial matter. The 24-year-old was taken to hospital by emergency services, with no risk to his life according to the statement.

The incident occurred in the city of Steinfurt, where the emergency services were subsequently called. After the dispute, the suspect was arrested in Steinfurt by both the police and the public prosecutor's office.
