Investigations - 21-year-old allegedly killed mother and himself
A 21-year-old in Bietigheim-Bissingen (Ludwigsburg district) has presumably killed his mother and himself. The police and public prosecutor's office announced on Saturday that this was the result of the investigation so far. "According to the current state of the investigation, no external influence can be assumed." The bodies were found on Friday following a telephone tip-off from the police and rescue workers.
It is suspected that the man had allegedly fatally stabbed his 52-year-old mother with a knife in their shared apartment before taking his own life, the investigators added. Both bodies showed corresponding injuries. The investigators did not initially provide any further details about the case.
Police and rescue workers found the bodies in the apartment at around 2.30 pm. Numerous ambulances and police cars were deployed. The criminal investigation department and forensics were still on site on Friday evening.
