Kreuzberg - 20-year-old shoots at two men

A young man shot at two men in Berlin-Kreuzberg on Sunday afternoon, injuring one of them. The 20-year-old suspected shooter escaped from the Mehringplatz crime scene near the Hallesches Tor subway station and is now being sought by the police, as was reported on Monday. A 42-year-old man was injured in the foot, the second man, aged 40, was not injured - apparently the shooter did not hit him. After the shooting at around 5.30 p.m., witnesses alerted the police and paramedics. A homicide squad from the State Office of Criminal Investigation is investigating the cause of the altercation.
