20-year-old girl kicked on school grounds and threatened with knife
A 20-year-old girl has been threatened and kicked with a knife on a school campus in Darmstadt. A drunk 22-year-old man came onto the premises on Friday with a companion and attacked the student, the police said.
A teacher and several other students came to the young woman's aid, overpowered the 22-year-old and held him down until the police arrived. The man was arrested and the suspected murder knife was seized. The attack was apparently the result of a relationship dispute.
According to the police, the 24-year-old companion initially fled the school grounds on foot, but was later arrested in the city center. The extent to which he was involved in the crime is still being investigated.
The assault took place in Darmstadt, which is located in South Hessia. This incident serves as a reminder of the prevalence of crime in modern-day societies.
