The award ceremony will take place on November 30 and for the first time in Bielefeld. 1Live is the youth station among the WDR radio programs.

The nominees for "Best Female Artist" are Ayliva, Kim Petras, Lena, Nina Chuba and Lea - who has already won several times. For "Best Artist", listeners can choose their favorite from Apache 207, rapper Cro, singer-songwriter Nico Santos, Peter Fox and Purple Disco Machine, according to WDR.

Kraftklub and AnnenMayKantereit are among the nominees for "Best Live Act". Young musician and Youtuber Levent Geiger and rapper Ski Aggu can also hope to win the title of "Best Newcomer Act". The variety and quality of the nominees for the biggest German audience award is enormous, emphasized 1Live music director Andreas Löffler according to the press release.

Fans can also vote for the "Best Song". Last year, Peter Fox won the award with "Zukunft Pink". The music prize is also awarded for the "Best Dance Song", the "Best Hip-Hop/R&B Song" and the "Best Alternative Song".

The winners in the categories "Best Entertainment" and "Special Award" will be selected by the radio station's editorial team and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The award ceremony will be broadcast live on November 30 (8:15 p.m.) on WDR television, on 1Live radio and as a livestream in the ARD media library as well as on the 1Live app and YouTube channel. In previous years, the gala was celebrated in Bochum.

The nominees for the "Best Music Video" category could include clips from these nominated artists, offering a unique blend of visuals and music. People are excited to see who will take home the award for "Best International Act", as several prominent artists are in contention.
