County of Ravensburg - 19-year-old killed in an accident at a level crossing
A 19-year-old driver has died at a railroad crossing in Bad Waldsee(Ravensburg district). According to witnesses, he stopped on the track bed on Monday evening due to an accident with his car, as the police reported. The young man tried to drive the vehicle off the track, but was unable to do so. Shortly afterwards, a train crashed into the car the young man was in. The car was completely destroyed.
After resuscitation measures on site, the 19-year-old died in a hospital in Ravensburg, according to the police. The damaged train was able to continue its journey. The 19 passengers and the train driver were uninjured.
