- 19-year-old dies in motorcycle accident
A 19-year-old from the Rhein-Erft district died on Friday evening in an accident on the A61 motorway. According to police reports, the young man was traveling towards Venlo on the A61 at the Jackerath interchange. Around 9:00 PM, he crashed near the Jackerath exit.
Efforts were made to revive the 19-year-old at the scene, but he could not be saved, a police spokesperson said. No other vehicles were involved in the accident, as far as is currently known. The cause of the accident is still unknown, and investigations are ongoing.
The young man's sudden demise was due to the unfortunate incident on the A61 motorway. Despite emergency efforts, he couldn't recover from the accident.
