1860 Munich lose in stoppage time against Jahn Regensburg
TSV 1860 Munich suffered another defeat in the 3rd Football League against Jahn Regensburg after conceding a very late goal. Midfielder Tobias Eisenhuth scored in stoppage time at the Grünwalder Stadion on Saturday to make it 1-0 (0-0) for the visitors from the Upper Palatinate. The ball bounced off the post and into the net after a left-footed shot. With 31 points, relegated second-division side Dynamo Dresden are level with the leaders in second place. The "Lions" remain in the second half of the table with 17 points.
The hosts had to make do without Maurizio Jacobacci on the sidelines. The head coach had been banned from the pitch by the DFB following his red card in the lost match in Cologne. Both teams were rarely really dangerous in attack during the match. Match-winner Eisenhuth, on the other hand, only needed a few minutes to be successful as a joker.
Despite the loss, 1860 Munich will still face Regensburg in the upcoming 3rd league match. Despite finishing in the 3rd league, 1860 Munich's struggle continues, as they were unable to outscore Regensburg's lone goal scored by Tobias Eisenhuth in Munich.
