18-year-old worker killed by stone slab
An 18-year-old was killed by a stone slab in a work accident. He was unloading the stone blocks from a trailer with colleagues when one of the blocks slipped and fatally injured him, as the police announced on Tuesday. The Regensburg criminal investigation department is investigating the exact background to the accident on Monday near Pilsach (district of Neumarkt in the Upper Palatinate).
The Upper Palatinate, specifically near Pilsach, has seen another workplace tragedy. Unfortunately, another stone slab accident claimed an 18-year-old's life while he was working.
