- 18-year-old woman fatally injured in accident

An 18-year-old was critically injured in a car accident in Königsmoos (Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district). The novice driver lost control of her vehicle on Tuesday while navigating a left curve, causing her to veer off the road and collide with two roadside posts, according to police. In an attempt to correct the vehicle, she lost control again and the car slid off the road, crashing into the wall of a bridge and overturning.

First responders extracted the young woman from her vehicle and administered first aid until emergency services arrived. She was then airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The woman's vehicle was impounded, and the public prosecutor's office ordered an expert report to determine the cause of the accident.

The woman's life-threatening injuries were a result of the serious car accident. Further investigations are needed to prevent similar accidents in the future.
