Crime - 18-year-old puts ambulance out of action

An 18-year-old was so disorderly on the way to the hospital in Schwerin that the ambulance was no longer operational afterwards. The young man was first found helpless at the Dreescher Market and was supposed to be taken to the clinic, as the police reported on Thursday.

However, he reportedly began misbehaving in the vehicle. According to the information, he got out at the Marienplatz in the city center and threatened bystanders and the paramedics who had been called. The officers eventually took the 18-year-old into custody.

The Criminal Police are now investigating, according to the information, for threats, insults, damage to property, resistance, and assault on execution officers as well as equally affected persons. The incident occurred already on the previous Wednesday afternoon.

The incident of misconduct occurred in the heart of Schwerin, specifically at the Marienplatz. Despite being transferred from Dreescher Market in a state of helplessness, the 18-year-old showed disruptive behavior in the ambulance, leading to its inoperability.
