18-year-old killed in Pasewalk: Two suspects identified
On Friday, the public prosecutor's office was still preparing the application for arrest warrants to be issued against the two detainees. Further details on the results of the investigation were not to be published for the time being, also in view of the age of the two adolescents.
The police had discovered the body of the 18-year-old on Thursday evening during a search for the missing woman with a search dog in a garden. Due to the external injuries, a violent crime was assumed, but investigations were continuing in all directions, it was initially reported. Now the investigators seem to be firmly assuming a homicide.
Specialists from the criminal investigation department and forensic medicine secured evidence at the scene. In addition, a multi-member investigation team was set up to investigate the background and motive for the crime.
An autopsy was carried out on the body on Friday, but a final result was not yet available. The police asked for information from witnesses as to where the 18-year-old had last been or whether any conspicuous people or vehicles had been seen in the area of the gazebo.

The two suspects identified in the case are currently being held by the police in Neubrandenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The public prosecutor's office is diligently working to gather enough evidence to file charges against them. The crime scene, where the 18-year-old was killed, remains a focal point of the investigation. Witnesses from Pasewalk are being urged to come forward with any relevant information they may have. The police are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice in this tragic case.
