18-year-old dies in hospital after accident

A young man has died more than a week after a serious traffic accident near Gomadingen (Reutlingen district). The 18-year-old was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter with life-threatening injuries and died there on Thursday, a police spokesman said on Friday.

A young man has died more than a week after a serious traffic accident near Gomadingen (Reutlingen district). The 18-year-old was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter with life-threatening injuries and died there on Thursday, a police spokesman said on Friday.

The traffic accident had already happened at the end of November. A car carrying five people wanted to turn onto a road and the driver overlooked the right of way of a truck. The lorry driver and two car occupants were slightly injured, three occupants of the car including the driver were seriously injured. One of them died.
