Attack - 17-year-old pedestrian injured with a knife in Nördlingen

Two men attacked two pedestrians in Nördlingen (Donau-Ries district) and injured one of them with a knife. Both pedestrians had their lips bloodied and one of them was stabbed in the thigh, according to the police. The suspects, aged 17 and 19, had driven past the 17- and 18-year-old pedestrians in their car on Sunday night and got out in front of them. The physical altercation between the four young men then broke out for reasons as yet unexplained.

It was initially unclear whether the incident had been preceded by an argument or whether the people involved already knew each other, according to a police spokesperson. The perpetrators fled and have not yet been located. However, they are already known to the police, the spokesman said. The investigation is ongoing.
