Traffic accidents - 17-year-old crashes into trees while drunk
A 17-year-old boy crashed his father's car into two trees near Malchow (Mecklenburg Lake District) while drunk and without a driver's license. The young man was seriously injured in the accident on Thursday evening, according to the police. According to initial findings, the driver left the road at excessive speed and crashed into the trees.
During the accident investigation, the police determined that the 17-year-old driver had a breath alcohol level of 1.43 per mille. He was charged with drunk driving and driving without a license.
