According to the information provided, the funding from the Free State was handed out by the Sächsische Aufbaubank. Among other things, three major projects were supported - such as the new construction of a workshop for disabled people in Reichenbach with 6.9 million euros. Around 2.1 million euros in funding was provided for the conversion of a social therapy home in Wermsdorf and 1.3 million euros for the renovation of a building to create a new support and care area in Dresden.

For 2024, Saxony has once again earmarked funding of 18.4 million euros in the budget to improve participation.
