Gambling - 16 million winnings: record half-year for Lotto Bayern

Lotto Bayern counted 16 Million winnings in the first half of 2024, which is more than any other first half-year in history. In total, over 314 Million Euro were paid out to the participants - ten Million more than in the first half of 2023. "Bayern's participants have never had this much luck in a first half-year before", stated Claus Niederalt, the President of the State Lottery- and Gambling Administration.

In January, a pensioner from Mittelfranken won approximately 48.6 Million Euro. This was reportedly the highest win ever in the "6aus49" lottery. In February, a Eurojackpot win of 63.2 Million Euro was paid out.

The records-breaking winnings in Lotto Bayern's first half of 2024 have sparked interest in Gambling, with locals in Bavaria, particularly in Munich, eagerly participating in Games of chance, hoping to win millions like their counterparts in Mittelfranken and other regions. The happiness derived from these Gambling activities has significantly surpassed previous levels, as evidenced by the staggering 314 Million Euro distributed during this period.
