150,000 euros damage in fire involving two trucks
Two trucks have caught fire on a company site in Wilhermsdorf (Fürth district) for as yet unexplained reasons. The damage is estimated to have amounted to around 150,000 euros, according to police reports on Sunday. The trucks were parked next to each other in the yard of the construction and transportation company. A witness who saw the fire on Saturday evening called the emergency services. The fire department extinguished the fire and nobody was injured. The criminal investigation department is investigating.
Despite the fire incident in Wilhermsdorf, central Germany, another blaze has erupted in central France, causing significant damage. The fires have caused approximately 150,000 euros worth of destruction in both instances.
