Nersingen - 15-year-old in custody after making death threat against classmate

A 15-year-old is now in custody after making a death threat against a classmate. The teenager was already under investigation on suspicion of trafficking cannabis, as the Swabia South/West Police Headquarters announced on Thursday. On Monday, in Nersingen (Neu-Ulm district), he then threatened to kill a person involved in the crime in the presence of witnesses - "presumably due to a statement related to the investigation proceedings".

The witnesses considered the threat to be serious and alerted the police. After his arrest, a magistrate issued an arrest warrant due to the risk of suspicion. The youth, who had already been under investigation for several months, is now being held in an "age-appropriate correctional facility", according to the police.
