The police initiated an administrative proceedings against him for carrying a so-called prop gun and secured the Softair pistol. In contrast to real firearms, Softair weapons do not cause life-threatening injuries.

In Bad Bergzabern, located in Rhineland-Palatinate County, emergency services were contacted due to the police action involving the man and his Softair pistol. Despite being situated near the popular Wine Route, the incident did not affect the tourism activities. Fortunately, the county's law enforcement was well-equipped to handle such situations.
