Crime - 1200 spruce logs stolen near Suhl: 21,000 euros damage

Thieves have stolen around 1200 spruce trunks near Suhl. The trunks were five meters long and must have been loaded onto a truck with a crane, as the police reported on Tuesday. It is highly likely that the removal between Gehlberg and Schmiedefeld took place over several nights. The police said the time of the crime was between Friday evening and Monday afternoon. The police put the damage at around 21,000 euros and are looking for witnesses.
