The 1. FC Nürnberg denies its pre-season match before the 2nd league start against top team Juventus Turin. As the Franken announced, the trial match against the Italian football record champions takes place on July 26 (17.00 CET) at Max-Morlock-Stadion. One week later, the team of trainer Miroslav Klose, who was active as a striker for many years in Italy for Lazio Rom, starts the new 2nd league season.

"That will be a great test for us, where hopefully many fans will be present. For us, it is the final test, so we want to be in good shape for it in our preparation", explained Klose before the last preparation game against the team around Filip Kostic and Dusan Vlahovic. "We know that we are facing a very strong opponent. I have always enjoyed playing against such teams, so I am looking forward to it now that we can measure ourselves against such a top team."
